We are located 80 miles from Corpus Christi and approximately 120 miles from Houston.
Our students participate in an exemplary academic and extracurricular programs.
Our 7 schools range in size from 90 students to over 1100 students.
Each is staffed with exceptional teachers and professional administrative staff.
Volunteers and mentors visit our schools during the instructional day to provide additional support.
Parents believe in our schools and regularly attend school events and student performances.
Experienced and successful teachers are available to work with enthusiastic candidates through common planning and mentoring.
Our employees support each other in a collegial manner to promote the strength of the entire school community.
Additionally, Calhoun County ISD is proud to sponsor several homes for rent in the Point Comfort area for our employees.
Our goal is to recruit and retain an exemplary faculty and staff that will work hard to serve students.
Due to a generous donation from the Formosa Corporation, CCISD residences are offered at a below-market rate for up to two years.
Residences range from two to four bedrooms.
Each home is a short walk from the bayfront, Point Comfort pool and playground.
A lease agreement, initial deposit and an automatic payment schedule will be arranged upon residence availability.
Employees are invited to submit an application for the available residences.
